I like the part and technical support

The technical support of the company is great. They are responsive and give good advises. The motor is not what I initially wanted but they convinced me that it was a better choice. After installation, the motor works well in our crytostat.

Great piece of equipment.

The Dakewe is a great piece of equipment. I appreciated its design, ergonomics, and chamber footprint. The UV disinfection feature is a brilliant addition, and overall, it’s easy to use and clean, which I really like and the cuts are smooth.

Definitely prefer the Dakewe

We had some people relatively new to sectioning go
from the Dakewe to the HM550 and definitely preferred the Dakewe. I think the extra cold freezing rack really made the difference. These things are great!

These things are great! We've only ever used Leica but after a 30-minute
in-service with our team, the transition to the Dakewe was seamless and everyone loves them. I'll be replacing 3 more of our Leica cryostats and my goal is to have all of our 11 locations standardized on the Dakewe moving forward.

Rankin coverslipping film

We tested every vendor available with our Sakura coverslipper. The quality of film of Rankin was superior to others in regards to clarity and functionality in the instrument. It is 100% comparable to the Sakura film but longer! More for your money!!

Sent this microtome to the new Gorilla Doctors Regional Pathology lab in Rwanda. While setting up the lab I had a chance to cut on this microtome. A solid microtome, fly wheel was smooth and obtained good sections. I would recommend this rotary microtome.
